Ms Civy Leung is Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife, she also attained Master in Health Administration of New South Wales University. 2005-2014 she had been the Cluster General Manage (Nursing) of Hong Kong East Cluster Hospitals and also General Manage (Nursing) of Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. Responsibilities covered the domain of quality & risk management, resources management, staff development, professional development and nursing services development. After retirement from hospital services in 2014, she devotes to professional development and nursing education. She has joined the Nethersole School of Nursing (Chinese University of Hong Kong) as Professional Consultant. In 2014, she has been elected as Vice President of Hong Kong Academy of Nursing, working together with nursing leaders to strive for excellence in achieving safe and quality healthcare that benchmark with international standards through regulating advanced nursing practice. Ms Leung also endeavors to promote quality nursing care in mainland. Currently she is editor board member of the Chinese Nursing Management Journal, Senior Advisor of Guangdong Province Nursing Education Centre and Advisor of Ningxia Nursing Association.
